PAC SWIMMERS SHINE AT 2025 DARWIN CHAMPIONSHIPS

PAC SWIMMERS SHINE AT 2025 DARWIN CHAMPIONSHIPS cover

In March, three senior swimmers from Playford Aquatic Club, Michael, Violet, and Taya flew to Darwin to compete in the 2025 City of Darwin NT Swimming Championships. After settling in, they had a final training session to prepare and adapt to the tropical conditions.

Impressive Results in Tough Conditions

Over three days of competition, the trio raced in 41 events (17 heats, 24 finals) against some of the Territory’s top swimmers. Despite challenging weather, they delivered outstanding performances:

  • 🥇 13 Gold
  • 🥈 5 Silver
  • 🥉 2 Bronze
  • 🎖️ 6 Fourth-Place Finishes

Their achievements are a testament to the dedication and resilience shown every week at training at The Aquadome.

Beyond the Podium

Following the competition, the team celebrated with some well-earned downtime and sightseeing. They returned not only with medals, but also with stronger friendships and incredible memories.

Swimming at PAC is about more than just racing- it builds confidence, resilience, time management, and teamwork, all skills that benefit swimmers both in and out of the pool.
