The Aquadome has been a hive of activity with tradesman this month. You will have noticed that our gas line running the length of the pool deck is now complete as promised and on schedule. We hope the disruption to you was kept to a minimum. You may have heard but not seen tradesman on the roof of the Aquadome. These trades are installing solar panels and this project will last another few weeks. We hope the noise has not caused any discomfort. Our pool plant room now has speed drives helping with efficiencies in running the pool while new more efficient heat pumps are currently being scoped to be installed.
A scheduled pool maintenance day with an early closure of the swimming facility will occur over the coming month. We expect this to happen on a Saturday afternoon but more information will be shared with members closer to the date. This will allow us to work through the night to get some much-needed maintenance done while reducing the impact on the current activity the Aquadome currently sees.
The Aquadome services in excess of 30,000 visits on a monthly basis and upgrades to the facility to ensure its sustainability are inevitable. We will continue to ensure that this impact is kept to a minimum allowing you to continue to enjoy the wonderful services and facilities available at the Aquadome
